Enjoy free crafts, stories and nature activities at the Baylor Regional Park Campground Office (the barn) every Saturday between Memorial Day and Labor Day! All ages are welcome to participate.

28th – Nature Crowns - Use the beauty of nature to create a colorful crown with natural materials
June:
4th – Fish prints - Create an artistic, painted picture of fish – a Japanese art form
11th – Photo Match - Find the same scenes in the park using photos taken in the winter
18th – Story Walk® Caps for Sale with Carver County Libraries - Follow the story as it leads you through the park
25th – Nature Journals - Create your own special journal to take on self-guided hikes
July:
2nd – Pond Study - Discover new and strange things about the water and its inhabitants
9th– Bottle O’ Fish - A twist and a turn can transform an ordinary water bottle into a marvelous
16th – Story Walk® Silly Sally with Carver County Libraries - Follow the story as it leads you through the park
23rd – Story Walk® Frank Henry & the Zoo Band - Follow the story as it leads you on an adventure through the park
30th – Press painted leaves onto paper to make interesting and colorful stamped designs
August:
6th – Story Walk® The Little Red Hen with Carver County Libraries - Follow the story as it leads you through the park
13th – Pet Rocks - Turn ordinary rocks into furry friends using a variety of materials
20th – Fish prints - Create an artistic, painted picture of fish – a Japanese art form
27th – Sand Art - Sand, seashells and glue. All of the materials you will need to create a masterpiece
September:
3rd – Leaf Mosaic – Using natural materials and textures, create a colorful mosaic to take home with you
