Lyman Boulevard Project Open House

  • Introduction: There will be an open house on the Lyman Boulevard Improvement Project from 4-6 p.m. on May 26 at the Chanhassen Recreation Center.

The Carver County Public Works Division is hosting a public information open house on the Lyman Boulevard Improvement Project from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, at the Chanhassen Recreation Center, 2310 Coulter Boulevard, Chanhassen.  A formal presentation on the proposal will begin at 5 p.m. in a meeting room located on the east side of the building. 

The meeting is to inform the public of proposed improvements on Lyman Boulevard from TH 41 to Galpin Boulevard. The project includes improvements at the intersections of Lyman Boulevard with TH 41, Peavey Road, and Norex Drive, reconstruction of Lyman Boulevard from TH 41 to Galpin Boulevard, and trail improvements. 

An exhibit on the proposed improvements showing concept alternatives, one with roundabouts at intersections and another featuring a signalized option, will be available at the open house. County staff would like to receive comments from area businesses and residents on these proposals.
