Events & Happenings in Carver County

Candlelit Walk & Dog Sled

Venture out to Baylor Regional Park Saturday, Feb. 11th for a wintery Candlelit Walk & Dog Sled adventure. Come discover a longstanding Carver County tradition with your friends & family! Try a luminary dog sled ride with Silent Run Adventures... an experience that is sure to impress!

You will have the chance to stride along candlelit trails, take a hay ride and enjoy wintery bonfire treats like cider & s'mores! The dog sled experience with Silent Run Adventures has a limited number of rides during the event. We recommend arriving at the beginning of the event (registration opens @ 5:30pm) for the best chance to register for your ride-time! 

Event Entry: $5/person

Dog Sled Ride: $5/person (registration for your timeslot opens @ 5:30pm)

All-inclusive Family rate: $35/family of 4 or less (NEW reduced rate due to poor skiing conditions)

Candlelit Ski & Dog Sled Events A note on weather conditions:

  • We Minnesotans are hardy folks, but the sled dogs are even hardier! This event will not be cancelled in advance for cold weather unless extraordinarily extreme conditions present themselves. 
  • Even if snow conditions are poor for skiing, the event will continue with dog sled rides and a luminary walk - don't miss out!
