Hawkeye Camp

Day Camp - August 2nd - August 4th

Hawkeye Camp– August 2nd - 4th

Does your son want to be an archer whose shot is as true as Hawkeye’s?  Then this camp is his place to meet fellow “Avengers” and practice his skills!  Through fun games and experiential learning, participants will learn range safety and proper techniques for stance, aim, and release to improve their shot.  Campers will get the opportunity to shoot both compound and recurve bows at various target styles.  Campers should come prepared for the weather conditions and should pack a backpack with snacks, reusable water bottle, sunscreen, hat or sun glasses, snack, and close-toed shoes.   All other necessary equipment will be provided.  This camp will be held outdoors at Lake Susan Park and is a partnership between Carver County Parks Department, the City of Chanhassen Parks Department, and Eastern Carver County Schools Community.
