Katniss Kamp

Day Camp - July 26th - July 28th

Katniss Kamp July 26th-28th

Does your daughter want to be an archer as confident as Katniss Everdeen?  Then this camp is her place to train and make new allies!  Through fun games and experiential learning, participants will learn range safety and proper techniques for stance, aim, and release to improve their shot.  Campers will get the opportunity to shoot both compound and recurve bows at various target styles.  Campers should come prepared for the weather conditions and should pack a backpack with snacks, reusable water bottle, sunscreen, hat or sun glasses, snack, and close-toed shoes.   All other necessary equipment will be provided.  This camp will be held outdoors at Lake Susan Park and is a partnership between Carver County Parks Department, the City of Chanhassen Parks Department, and Eastern Carver County Schools Community Education.
