Presentation topics
The first hour will include a presentation on the aquatic invasive species program, a review of the watercraft inspection program, monitoring results, status of aquatic invasive species in Carver County, and options for the 2020 program.
Following the presentation, there will be a group discussion on the presented information, and time to share thoughts and ideas about the upcoming 2020 program.
The meeting will conclude with a review of a program to clean up aquatic vegetation around public accesses and an introduction to a new type of education campaign.
Who should attend
Members of the local community including neighboring agencies, lake associations, anglers, those who enjoy the outdoors, concerned citizens, etc.We highly encourage folks who have a stake in our local waters and have ideas, questions, comments about aquatic invasive species to attend these meetings. They help shape the way the County uses its resources to prevent and manage aquatic invasive species. They also help foster relationships and collaboration.
