Scouting Series

17th-18th

Calling all scouts!  Are you looking for a way to earn those merit badges?  This outing may meet some of your requirements.  Join us for the hands-on, two-day series covering geocaching, archery, and a canoe river trip! Geocaching instruction includes using GPS navigation to find the hidden caches along trails and open areas.  Archery includes experiential learning, including range safety and proper techniques for stance, aim, and release to become consistent archers. Although this course is geared toward scouting, you do not need to be a scout to sign up for this course, everyone is welcome to learn.

Participants should come prepared for the weather & bring a snack.  All other necessary equipment will be provided. This program is a partnership between Carver County Parks Department and the City of Chaska Parks & Recreation Department.
