Family Full Moon Canoe – August 18th
Fresh summer air. Cool water on your fingertips. Full moon rising. Get the family out of the house and onto the water for this unique paddling excursion. This program will have very brief instructions on water safety and a paddling skills refresher as needed. Then we will launch for our calm evening experience of Lake Minnewashta at dusk. All necessary paddling equipment will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring headlamps/flashlights. This program will be held outdoors at Lake Minnewashta Regional Park and is a partnership between Carver County Parks Department and the City of Chaska Parks Department.
