Fantastic Flying Saucers– New! – August 8th
“It’s a bird…It’s a plane…No, it’s a Flying Saucer!” In this lighthearted camp, participants will develop their throwing technique in two popular Flying Saucer games: Disc Golf & Ultimate Frisbee both on land and in the water! Stand-up paddleboards provide a great on water venue for disc games. Campers will also decorate their own discs to take home! Guided by Carver County Parks Department instructors, these lifetime games will help campers develop teamwork in a fun environment. Campers should come prepared for the weather conditions and should pack a backpack with snack, lunch, reusable water bottle, hat or sunglasses, swimwear, and close-toed shoes. All other equipment will be provided. This camp will be held outdoors at Lake Minnewashta Regional Park and is a partnership between Carver County Parks Department and the City of Chaska Parks Department.
