DESCRIPTION:<p>Organics recycling provides an opportunity to keep food scraps and other compostable materials out of the trash while creating a valuable resource. This session will explore the role of organics recycling in reducing waste and protecting the environment.</p><p>Participants will visit Dakota Prairie Composting for a behind-the-scenes tour of the facility and learn how collected organics are processed into compost. The tour will provide an opportunity to see the organics recycling process firsthand and learn more about how residents can participate.</p><h3>Who Can Participate?</h3><ul>    <li>Anyone who lives or works in Carver County</li>    <li>Participants under 18 if accompanied by a parent or guardian</li>    <li>Registration is required</li></ul><h3>Registration</h3><p>Registration is required for Environmental Academy events.
