If your child misses being outdoors in the winter, this camp is their outdoor escape! Participants will enjoy one full day of great winter recreation activities of snowshoeing, shelter building, & group activities in this unique winter day camp. Instructors with the Carver County Parks Department will teach outdoor activities covering how-to, safety and equipment terminology; City of Chanhassen Parks staff will lead fun indoor activities during warm-up times. This camp is based primarily outdoors and campers should come prepared with: lunch, water bottle, warm layered clothing & boots. Hot chocolate will be provided.
