DESCRIPTION:<p>Does your daughter want to be an archer as confident as Katniss Everdeen?&nbsp; Then this camp is her place to train and make new allies!&nbsp; Through fun games and experiential learning, participants will learn range safety and proper techniques for stance, aim, and release to improve their shot.&nbsp; Campers will get the opportunity to shoot both compound and recurve bows at various target styles.</p>
<p>Campers should come prepared for the weather conditions and should pack a backpack with snacks, reusable water bottle, sunscreen, hat or sun glasses, snack, and close-toed shoes.&nbsp;&nbsp; All other necessary equipment will be provided.&nbsp; This camp will be held outdoors at Lake Minnewashta Regional Park and is a partnership between Carver County Parks Department, the City of Chanhassen Parks Department, and Eastern Carver County Schools Community Education.&nbsp;</p>
